Finishing School

Historical hour-long. Austin Film Festival Drama Teleplay Pilot Second Rounder 2023

In the late 1880s, Florence Baldwin founded the first all-girls school in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, with the intention of providing her students with a liberal arts education, replete with male subjects like philosophy and mathematics. But as Florence's progressive ideals continually clash with Bryn Mawr's desire for nothing more than a refined, lady-like finishing school, Florence stands to lose the school she has worked so hard to build.
